Spring Break FOREVERRRR... Just Kidding

So we’re halfway through the drink filled, sun tanning, and amazingly fun week known as spring break! You worked so long and hard since January to be able to show your body off on the beaches of Florida, the Bahamas, and/or Mexico! Sunday night at about 11p.m you will come to the realization that classes are in fact a thing again and so is ordering Chanello’s at 12 a.m on any given night “in order to deal with the stress”.  As a consequence, you say bye bye to your hard earned spring break body because just like spring break it does not last forever BUT why not?  Do you know what’s right around the corner and not only one week long?! That’s Right!

 

 

 

 

    SUMMER TIME!!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When your body will hopefully be catching even more rays over 3 glorious months! So I’m guessing I have your interest now! But you're probably thinking, "Summer is so far away. I can workout the last month of school". And yeah you're right! You can do that! But in between spring break and summer there is something that allows you to have the drinks from spring break and a peiece of summer weather all at once!!! It comes out to one amazing word:

Sure you’re not in a bikini for these fun, sun-filled all day events but you are probably planning to wear a romper or sundress with a cute pair of wedges or even a pair of cute hi-waisted shorts with a cute top! You do not want to regret that 12 a.m. Chanellos or Tutti Gusti when you go to put on these outfits so do these three things to rock through the rest of this semester into summer:

 

Find Inspiration:

 

There are lots of ways to do this but sometimes music just speaks to our souls. I say come up with a playlist that makes you genuinely happy and head to the gym!

If music isn’t your cup of tea, there are YouTube videos and even books that can help you get up and get active!

 

Find some knowledge:

 

Obviously there are specific things that you want to work on and other things you just wish to maintain. For a lot of you, it will become a matter of maintaining if you have already killed it on the beaches over spring break! For that knowledge, I highly suggest you look up YouTube videos and certain Pinterest boards. Your goal is not to work out to just workout but instead workout to acquire your best state of fitness that you are happy with. This research does not need to be extensive but doing research would really help you come up with a plan!!

 

Lastly, LET'S GET IT STARTED:

 

I may have stolen that line from the black eyed peas but it really does get my point across! Once you have inspiration and a plan, what is there to stop you besides yourself?! Do those abs while watching an instructional YouTube video and listening to Iggy Azalea’s work!! I can guarantee you will be very happy at the daydrinks you decide to attend this spring, in addition to when you return to the beach and everyone tells you that you look great! Don’t drop that spring break bod!! You earned and worked for it, it’s easier to maintain than work toward again! Live up the rest of this week but do not give up on your Spring break body just because spring break is over!!
